Membership
General Qualifications for Membership.
The Applicants for membership must possess the following qualifications
A. Citizen of the Philippines
B. Good standing in the community
C. Must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude
D. Male or female, twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of the Application
E. Must be in good health as certified by a physician
F. Must be gainfully employed or operating a legitimate business and or farming sufficient enough to sustain the needs of the family for civilian applicants or members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Maritime Police, Philippine Coast Guard, and National Bureau of Prisons
G. Must have earned at least 108 units in college or a 3rd-year college equivalent or high school graduate with special skills needed by the Organization. The Federal Congress may however change the educational qualifications of the applicants which shall be based on their economic and community position status. The general basis of which is still focused on the goal of the association recruiting “assets” to the association and not “liabilities”
H. Foreign Nationals residing in the Philippines may be accepted as members after passing through the process of recruitment and after satisfying the qualifications for membership except for the letter “A” of Section 1, Art IV. They shall, however, having legitimate businesses in the country, or, employed in any legitimate company operating in the Philippines holding the Philippine Visa categories as working, or permanent residents. Visiting foreign nationals holding a tourist visa are not qualified.
